My Journey to Naturopathic Medicine

Growing up, my parents raised my sister and me with a holistic perspective to living and healing. My family ate healthy meals filled with plant-based, whole foods, spent an abundance of life playing and exploring in nature, received plenty of sleep, and focused on positive thoughts. When my sister and I had ailments, my mother turned to homeopathy, herbal teas, and other natural cures to support and heal ourselves. Although I grew up with a natural way of life, I had not heard of a Naturopathic Doctor until I started college. When I first heard about a Naturopathic Doctor, I instantly knew I wanted to spend my whole life learning about it, engaging with it, and healing my community with it. I love that Naturopathic Medicine understands and supports each and every one of our being’s innate ability to heal itself. I am constantly inspired that this form of medicine heals the whole person; mind, body, and spirit. Furthermore, I am extremely passionate about teaching my community about how their bodies function and how powerful nature is at healing.
