There is no better way to combat disease then to prevent it in the first place. All of our genes, the environments we surround ourselves with, and our lifestyles are all so very different so the steps we take to prevent disease are going to have their unique aspects as well! However, there are some common foundations of health that we all should work towards to stay healthy, as that is the ultimate goal. These include getting good quality sleep, eating a nourishing diet, allowing our bodies to get movement daily, drinking clean water, practicing breathing exercises, spending time with the ones we love, feeling connected to our community, and taking the time to do the things we love to do! There is so much we can do to prevent disease and keep our bodies healthy!
